Course Description
Intimacy With God
The Lord desires each of His children to enter into an intimate, personal relationship with Him. This is to be the primary focus of our ministry through which we can effectively minister to others. Having a heart after God, entering into His rest, and going beyond the veil in prayer and worship are several areas that will be covered enabling the believer to draw closer to the Lord.

Character Development I & II
According to Romans 8:29, we are to be conformed to the image of Christ. This course usually becomes a "school of the Spirit", the Holy Spirit being the teacher, developing His fruit in the lives of the students.  Servant hood, long-suffering, interpersonal relationships, spiritual authority, forgiveness, the book of James, etc. are thoroughly investigated.

Missiology
Understanding the call to missions is essential.  Mission history, cultural awareness, etc. are discussed.  This course imparts the Biblical mandate and vision to reach the unreached.

Evangelism I & II
Understanding the fundamentals is important.  Personal, lifestyle and confrontive (street) evangelism for youth and adults are discussed, helping to alleviate the fear that often hinders an effective witness.  Emphasis is also placed on presenting our message cross-culturally.  Plenty of "hands-on" experience will be offered.

Ministry Guidance
This excellent course seeks to unveil the "mystery" of hearing God's call, and sheds good light on the questions: What are my gifts?  What is my ministry?  Perseverance and boldness are discussed in the second part of this course -  "Pressing on in your ministry."

World Religions
This informative course provides a general survey outlining the basic beliefs of the major world religions and cults.  A defense of Christianity is given and strategies for evangelism are shared as the various views are compared.

Teaching
To make disciples is our goal.  Fundamentals of teaching methodology, including Bible study presentation; children's ministry and teaching through sermons will be studied in this foundational course.

Church Planting
There are so many people who have no viable church in their midst.  The course challenges and opens new horizons by discussing techniques and strategies for planting churches among urban, rural and remote people.

Worship Warfare
Without walking in the light of these truths there is no intimacy with God and no effective ministry.  This course goes a long way to impart the love of God and teaches the believer to use worship and intercession to tear down spiritual strongholds.

Gifts of the Spirit
Jesus said those who believe would do the works that He did (and even greater) - heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead.  The Holy Spirit has been given to empower the saints for effective ministry.  His "gifts" are given according to His purposes.  In this awesome class, students may experience the operation of the gifts that God has given them.

Deliverance
New Testament believers must have a proper understanding of demonic operations. This course gives Scriptural examples of the disciples' ministry, practical methods for discerning the presence of demons, how to minister deliverance and counsel concerning this often untouched subject.

Leadership Formation
Various types of leadership models are studied, as the biblical pattern becomes the measuring stick.  Inner preparation is emphasized, along with administrative principles that direct team ministry.  The laws of preparation and reproduction are viewed from Biblical case studies.  What is promotion and how is it obtained from God?  Learning God's mastery of events in preparing ministry and tests of preparation: motivation test, vision test, wilderness test, etc.

Preaching
Knowing what to preach, then preparing and delivering God's message are all examined.  Different styles of preaching including evangelistic messages will be discussed.  Throughout this course, the students should be given opportunity to prepare and preach.

Salvation
It is vital for the servant of God to have a solid understanding of salvation so that the gospel might be effectively communicated to others.  This course will give much insight into this wonderful gift of God.  The Doctrine of Damnation and Hell will also be studied.

Works of Mercy
The "balanced Gospel" exhorts us to visit those imprisoned and sick, to clothe the naked, and to feed the hungry.  This is a must for any ministry and will be investigated during this course.  Students should be given opportunity to minister in works of mercy to those in the local area.

Team Dynamics
Maintaining relationships "on the field" is a must for effective ministry.  Interpersonal relationships, servanthood, cultural awareness, culture shock and raising support are some topics that are emphasized in this vital and informative course.
